Windows 7 Upgrade Notes.
This model release with windows Vista as default operating system, and on support site only Windows Vista drivers available. Base on several upgrade reported by users, this model can be upgrade into windows 7 and it is not hard to obtain the drivers. Most of the drivers available through Windows Automatic updates and for other drivers you can use vista drivers and install it in compatibility mode.
Recommendations:
1. Upgrade RAM into 4GB max, min 1GB.
2. At least 10GB Free Hard Disk Space.

Before Installing drivers:
Turn on automatic updates by click start and type "Turn automatic updating on or off" and press enter. On the drop-down menu select "install updates automatically". Press ok and exit. Make sure you have internet connection and when windows finish installating updates you will be prompted to reboot. reboot and restart your notebook. This is important to get the most latest drivers for your notebooks.

Drivers Information:
1. Chipset, refer to intel 955,945,975, 900 series chipset which you can obtain the latest driver from automatic updates or intel download center.
2. Graphic drivers which refer to ATI Radeon x1600 already tetsed and work by using windows Vista drivers, the driver link above refer to vista drivers. Other alternatives driver you can try is:

Download and install the drivers, ignore if the installation failed:
1. Open device manager by click start and type DEVMGMT.MSC on the search box.
2. Under Sound, video and game controller, you will have audio marked with yellow such as "High definition audio bus" listed.
3. Right click on it and select update driver.
4. Select "Browse My computer for Driver software".
5. Select "let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer".
6. Click 'Have Disk" and click "Browse"
7. Point to "c:\swsetup\sp37155\SMAXWDM\W2K_XP\ select ADIHdAud.inf
8. Click Open, - OK then continue with on-screen instruction until installation finsih.
