Windows 8/8.1 Drivers for Acer Aspire 4732z
Acer didn't release Windows 8 support for this model. So, if you want to upgrade to Windows 8, please upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8 and avoid fresh installation. If you are using Windows XP/Vista or other operating system you may need to do fresh Windows 8 installation. Now for the drivers, since ACER didn't provide the drivers for windows 8, we must get the driver from the device Vendor itself:
IMPORTANT
Note : You can also try your windows 7 drivers in windows 8, I believe some of the will work. You can install using compatibility mode or manual installation. If you have a good internet connection, run windows automatic updates, it will install the latest driver available.
1. Audio
Conexant Audio driver (Conexant Hermosa 5051)
Windows 8 (32/64-bit) : Automatically Installed
By default windows will install High Definition Audio.
2. Chipset
Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset
Windows 8/8.1 (32/64-bit) : Download (Intel website)
Select SetupChipset.exe from the list. Download and install.
3. Camera/Webcam
Use Windows 7 Drivers, if installation failed re-install again using compatibility mode.
4. Card Reder
