Acer officially provide all support for windows XP Vista and 7 for this model. I re-make the lists base on Installation order, compatibility and add few installation instruction. Version listed here is for windows 7 , Version for windows XP and Windows Vista you can check on the download link URL. There are some changes for the driver name where I replace the basic name such as "intel VGA" to specific hardware name "Intel 4 Series".

Acer didn't release Windows 8 support for this model. So, if you want to upgrade to Windows 8, please upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8 and avoid fresh installation. If you are using Windows XP/Vista or other operating system you may need to do fresh Windows 8 installation. Now for the drivers, since ACER didn't provide the drivers for windows 8, we must get the driver from the device Vendor itself:
IMPORTANT
Note : You can also try your windows 7 drivers in windows 8, I believe some of the will work. You can install using compatibility mode or manual installation. If you have a good internet connection, run windows automatic updates, it will install the latest driver available.
1. Audio

By default windows will install High Definition Audio.
2. Chipset
